Reddit is where the internet goes to decide what it thinks. A product launch, a community you're building, a post you poured hours into — on Reddit, the difference between being seen and being buried often comes down to those first few hours of activity. Today we're making that first push easier: TaskerData now supports Reddit engagement campaigns, built directly into the Social Media Engagement category.
What's new
Until now, promoting a Reddit post on TaskerData meant writing everything out by hand in the instructions field and hoping workers followed along. Now the platform understands Reddit natively.

Create a campaign, pick Social Media Engagement, and paste any Reddit link. TaskerData detects what you've linked — a post, a specific comment, or a whole community — and shows you exactly the engagement options that make sense for it:
- Upvote — workers upvote your post (or a specific comment, if that's what you linked)
- Comment — workers leave a genuine comment, or reply to the comment you linked
- Join the subreddit — workers become members of your community
- Save the post — workers save it to their profile
Tick the ones you want, set your payment and positions, and you're live.
It understands your link — even the tricky ones
Reddit links come in many shapes: full post URLs, comment permalinks, redd.it short links, and the newer share links from the mobile app. Paste any of them. TaskerData resolves the link, figures out what it actually points at, and tailors both your options and the worker's instructions to match.
Link a community instead of a post? You'll only see the "join the subreddit" option — because asking workers to upvote a subreddit wouldn't mean anything. Link a specific comment? Workers are told to upvote and reply to that comment, not the post above it. The details are handled so your campaign says exactly what you meant.
What workers see

When a worker opens your campaign, they get a clear Required Reddit Actions checklist: the exact community name, each action you selected, and plain-language guidance for every step. No ambiguity, no misread instructions — which means fewer rejected submissions and revision loops for you.
Pair the campaign with image proof (a screenshot of the completed actions) and you can verify every submission before approving it. If a submission isn't quite right, the standard revision flow applies — workers see the same Reddit checklist when they redo the task, so nothing gets lost between attempts.
Track it like everything else
Reddit campaigns plug into all the analytics you already have: views and click-through rate on your campaign, submissions in real time, and the newly launched task return rate — so you can see whether workers who open your campaign actually finish it, and adjust your payment or instructions if they don't.
A note on doing this right
Reddit communities are famously good at spotting fake engagement — and Reddit itself takes vote manipulation seriously. Campaigns that work long-term are the ones built around genuine interaction:
- Ask for real comments, not scripted ones. A campaign that says "leave a comment sharing your honest first impression" produces engagement that survives scrutiny. A campaign that dictates exact wording produces ten identical comments that get your post flagged.
- Promote content worth engaging with. Workers are real Reddit users; engagement on a genuinely useful post looks and behaves like organic traction, because it is.
- Grow communities, don't game threads. "Join the subreddit" campaigns are a strong, low-risk way to seed a new community with actual members.
Campaigns that instruct workers to mislead or spam a community can be reported by workers and may be terminated under our content policies — the same rules that apply to every category on TaskerData.
